My
name is Madalyn Bush and I am happy to announce that I am going to be your 5th grade teacher! This is my second year as a teacher, my first year teaching at Bierbaum Elementary, and my first year as a Firth Grade Teacher!
I was born in a
small town outside of Kansas City, Missouri along with my older brother Tommy,
younger sister Jessica, and younger brother John. As a family we moved to my
dads hometown of Saint Louis when I was a sophomore in high school. My parents
put all my siblings and I in as many sports as they could, I fell in love with
soccer. With my love for the game I decided to play soccer in college and
picked Saint Louis University (Go Bills!) were I studied Special Education K-12 and
Elementary Education. I am currently working towards my Masters for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
I love spending my weekends at my siblings’ soccer or hockey games, traveling, volunteering with my sisters Special Olympic teams, hiking in parks, or just relaxing with a good book or Netflix!

Movie: Despicable me (but I rarely sit still long enough to watch movies)
